By submitting this registration form, I confirm that all information and documents provided are true, accurate, and complete, and I agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Regulatory Compliance
I affirm that I am duly licensed and in good standing under the respective provincial regulator’s rules and guidelines, for all provinces in which I operate and all applicable provincial and federal laws governing mortgage brokering in Canada.
2. Accuracy & Ongoing Obligations
I agree to promptly notify Marathon Mortgage Corp. (“the Lender”) of any changes to my licensing status, brokerage affiliation, contact information, or compliance standing. I understand that providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in denial or termination of access.
3. Use of Lender Systems
I will use the Lender’s systems, portals, and materials solely for lawful mortgage origination activities through my authorized brokerage, and I will not share access credentials with any unauthorized person.
4. Privacy, Data Collection & Disclosure
I acknowledge that the Lender will collect, use, verify, and retain my personal and business information — including identification documents, banking details, and licensing records — for the purposes of identity verification, compliance review, registration, and ongoing eligibility assessment. Such collection, use, and disclosure is made in accordance with PIPEDA and applicable privacy legislation. I consent to the Lender sharing relevant information with regulators, credit bureaus, and authorized third-party service providers as required by law.
5. AML / ATF Compliance
I acknowledge my obligations under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA) and agree to follow all AML/ATF procedures, including client identification, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements.
6. Verification Authorization
I authorize the Lender to confirm my licensing status, conduct background and compliance checks, consult regulatory databases, and communicate with my brokerage or regulator to validate any information provided.
7. Right to Suspend or Terminate Access
I understand that the Lender may suspend or revoke my registration or access privileges at any time for non-compliance with these terms, regulatory requirements, or internal lending policies.
8. Electronic Consent
By submitting this form, I consent to the use of electronic records, electronic signatures, and electronic communications for all aspects of this registration and my ongoing relationship with the Lender.
