Roman spent a decade of his career in public accounting while working for a few well established CPA firms that provide audit and tax services to a wide variety of clients. In 2013, Roman made the transition into the mortgage finance industry and has been an integral part of Marathon Mortgage’s growth since 2020 where he currently oversees all things Finance while proving to be an excellent contributor and supporter of various areas of the business.
Gary Pearson, Vice President, Servicing & Operations
With over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Gary is a dedicated leader and strategist specializing in servicing and operations. His expertise spans both A and B business segments, allowing him to effectively support clients ranging from prime borrowers to those with more challenging credit profiles.
Throughout his career, Gary has worked with some of the industry's most prominent organizations, including major banks, mortgage insurers, title insurance companies, and subprime lenders. These experiences have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the mortgage lifecycle and the ability to navigate complex challenges with confidence and precision.
From optimizing workflows and improving processes to collaborating with cross-functional teams, Gary is passionate about driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional service. His leadership style is rooted in mentoring and motivating teams to achieve their best while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.
